BECKHAM'S PHOTO SHOOT

Beckham was 3 weeks old in the shoot and the little stud did so good, too bad he wouldn't sleep for much of it! Either way love having him in our family, the things I have loved about being a mother so far, is the way he looks at me in the middle of the night at 4 AM when I have had no sleep, and he makes me laugh! He squeezes my fingers when I am bottle feeding him, his cry when he gets mad and then squeals like a girl! Being a mother is definitely a blessing I can't wait to see what a handsome little guys he grows up to be!

Beckham Ryan Ellis

So we finally had him, one week after my due date on Monday February 8th, Beckham Ryan Ellis was born and was 9 lbs 8 oz and 22 inches long, the nurse said the longest baby she had seen was 24 inches so you can image how huge he is.. He is so precious and we are so happy to welcome him into our family, we have truly been blessed by such a sweet spirit..Ryan can't keep his hands off of him and even though recovery is hard he is worth every bit of pain. We hope our friends and family members enjoy him as much as we already have. Here are some pictures so they are kind of out of order but haven't had much time to ourselves as you can imagine busy life is just after having a baby! We love you Beckham...

These pajamas are 6 months, he is so long that nothing fits him in newborn to 3 month old clothes..

This was Beckham's outfit on the way home from the hospital and it was so small that the onsie we had under his shirt was tucked in because it wouldn't fit over his pelvis, long boy!

So this is when I am 39 weeks and I am huge, can you image 2 more weeks of being pregnant, I didn't get to take a picture at 41 weeks but man did I grow!

Officially my due date!

Well it's officially my due date and no baby?!? I guess I have mentally prepared myself now that I have a stubborn little boy! I guess he loves heaven just a little too much!

BABY SHOWER

So I had a really fun friend baby shower and can I say that I have the most amazing friends in all the world! I am greatful to their insight on baby names, (thanks again girls)! But mostly their amazing friendships that have lasted through highschool and beyond...They truly make me a better person through their Christ-like examples.. I have many friends who are already amazing mothers and I can't wait for their advice when the first Baby Boy Ellis comes. Thanks again girlies for a fun day of memories

Thanksgiving Weekend

So for Thanksgiving weekend it has made me greatful for friends and Family and how much they do for me and Ryan! We are greatful for the examples of others, to have jobs in this scary economy, Money for food and a roof over our head, and the opportunity to start our celestial family next year! I hope we can all be a little more greatful, a little more compassionate, a little more forgiving, and a little more loving to those we care about and for those we may serve in the future! We had a great Thanksgiving weekend and boy did we enjoy the time off of work! Here are some random pictures of the weekend!

Over Thankgiving weekend I got to do a cookie exchange with the lovely ladies in my family and I am not looking forward to my next doctor's visit, who knows how much weight gain she'll see!
